Google has launched a new "person card", where individuals can link to their website, social profiles and other related pages from one place.
In a limited release, Google will test virtual business cards in search results, which will be displayed when searching for names.
Google has now launched a new "person card" in India that allows individuals to highlight in search results that they have never had before.
Appearing as an individual in search results can be challenging, especially for those who are unknown or have the same name as many people.
For searchers, if they do not have a strong image on the Internet, it may be difficult to find information about them.
“Today, we are solving these challenges with a new feature called people cards. It’s like a virtual visiting card, where you can highlight your existing website or social profiles you want people to visit, plus other information about yourself that you want others to know.”
The personnel card is designed for business professionals, performers, influencers, entrepreneurs, job seekers, freelancers or anyone who wants to grow their business online.
People cards can include links to websites, links to social profiles, and any other information you want people to know about you.
When you search for someone’s name and someone has a card, you will see a module containing their name, occupation and location. You can tap the module to view the complete card.
For people with the same name, multiple modules will be displayed. Searchers can use the information provided to distinguish different individuals.

How to:

People who can create their own person card can do so by searching for their name or entering the query "add me to search".

Before doing so, please make sure you are logged into your Google account, which contains the information you want to add.

After entering "Add me to search", click the prompt that appears.

You can decide how much of the above information to include in the personnel card.

Google also stated: "The more information you provide, the easier it is for people to find you."

People don’t need to show their phone number, but Google does need it for authentication purposes.

Google aims to ensure that the personnel card contains reliable information by implementing strict quality control measures.
